Hinkley Lighting prides itself on a 95-year history of excellence in client relationships. While the company has grown and expanded from a small outdoor lantern company to a global manufacturer of indoor and outdoor lighting, the website was outdated in appearance and functionality. The site was not user-friendly and lacked the interactive element so critical to functional websites today. As a result of outdated technology and user interface, the site was performing poorly.


In order to build a dynamic architecture which would improve and promote interaction with customers and industry experts, Weidenhammer:

  • Assembled a commerce team to develop multi-faceted plan to update the company’s website
  • Implemented new Magento Commerce cloud website based on contemporary User Experience design
  • Launched the site using Magento Commerce Cloud Pro which delivered a modern architecture
  • Provided custom integration with the SQL Server based on custom PIM
