Working Hard to Safely Return

For the past 3 months, Weidenhammer has been serving its customers by working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  We executed our business continuity plan, and successfully transitioned our team members to telecommute.  Our team members were well-prepared and were able to provide a relatively seamless experience for our customers.

Now, as a technology leader and leader in the business community, we are embarking on a safe return to the office.  We are in the process of bringing our team back (PA Offices only) in 3 waves.  The first wave returned the week of June 15th, the second wave June 22nd, and the third wave June 29th.  Team members were asked by their supervisors their preference on the week of their return to the office.  Our teams in Colorado, Michigan, and Missouri, will return to the office the week of July 6th.  We are thrilled to reopen our doors!

We want you to know that we’re making the safety and wellness of our team members, customers, vendors, and visitors a top priority.

So, what are we doing to ensure a safe return to the office?

Office Cleaning

All of our offices have been professionally sanitized.  Cleaning supplies are provided and personal space is to be cleaned prior to leaving for the day.

Daily Checklist

Team members were provided a Daily Checklist to follow before reporting to work each day.  This includes a temperature check.  Team members will not report to work if they, or any member of their immediate family are sick, especially if a fever, coughing, or shortness of breath is present.

Masks / Gloves

Masks are provided and must be worn. The only exceptions are if working alone in a private office, sitting in a cubicle or while using break time to eat or drink. A mask must be worn when entering and exiting the building to and from their vehicle.  Gloves are provided and are expected to be used when touching equipment, surfaces, door handles, etc. used by other Team Members.

Handwashing / Sanitizer

Personal hygiene including washing hands frequently is stressed.  Each team member is provided with hand sanitizer as well.

Social Distancing

Practice social distancing of 6 feet at all times.  Only one team member at a time in all common areas: breakroom, bathroom, copy room, etc.

Meetings

Meetings should continue to be conducted virtually. If essential, limit the meeting to the fewest number of team members possible, not to exceed 10 at one time, and maintain a social distance of 6 feet.

If you are planning to visit one of the Weidenhammer Offices, we ask that you abide by the same best practices above that we outlined for our team members.  Then we can all be assured that we are doing our best to keep each other safe and healthy!
