401! Creative Wins Seven Awards

Allentown, PA – March 14, 2014 – 401! Creative, Weidenhammer’s creative division, won seven awards (four silver, two gold, and one Best of Show) at the American Advertising Federation’s Annual Greater Lehigh Valley ADDY Awards held at the Allentown Brew Works.

The ADDY Awards recognize the best advertising in a variety of categories, including interactive media, television, newspaper, public service, consumer magazine and sales promotion. The competition is a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation, the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence.

This year’s competition saw the most ADDY submissions in the region to date, with 401! Creative submitting six entries in categories Digital Advertising (B to B, Consumer, Microsites), Multimedia DVD, Elements of Advertising – Photography, Campaign.

The Silver awards were presented to 4O1! for their fashion photography for LM Stylebar, a Bethlehem based women’s fashion line; their very own, a B to B website showcasing their work and culture; ArtsQuest’s Dinner and A Show, a campaign to raise awareness about dining options at SteelStacks; and Discover Lehigh Valley, a tourism site for visitors of Lehigh Valley. 4O1! also won two Gold ADDY’s for “Built Like a Mack Truck,” an interactive kiosk located at the Da Vinci Science Center and ASCD’s 2012-2013 Annual Report microsite.

Every year, there are three Best of Show awards for the categories of Interactive, Print and Video. This year, only two Best of Show awards were given and 4O1! received the Interactive Best of Show for ASCD’s Annual Report microsite. This is 4O1’s third Best in Show award in eight years.
