Account Executive – Professional Services

Position Description:

Weidenhammer is seeking an experienced Account Executive with a proven track record of building market position, expanding existing client opportunities, and opening new accounts by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.  Account Executives are focused on growing and enhancing customer relationships with Weidenhammer. They work to identify opportunities by employing a consultative sales approach to develop business plans to satisfy particular customer needs of new and existing customers and prospects.

  • Promote the sale of Professional Services (including Business & Technology Consulting, Development and Creative Services, Cloud and Managed Services) to both existing and new customers in the region
  • Generate sufficient prospects to attain sales quotas of $2 million in revenue
  • Conduct executive level sales calls to generate interest in Weidenhammer services and conduct effective sales presentations at executive levels
  • Qualify prospects for budget and technological fit
  • Conduct high level needs assessments and recommend possible solutions
  • Prepare and present professional proposals to prospects
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in business or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling professional services and/or related software products to mid-market companies
  • Knowledge of application development project management and strong background in general business systems
  • Good knowledge of technology and the industry channel dynamics
